‘A drabble is a short work of fiction of precisely one hundred words. The purpose of the drabble is brevity, testing the author’s ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space.’->wiki

Alvin Austin walked through the door of Your Wish Studio. The establishment specialized in painting portraits.

“Greetings,” Billy Baller said cheerfully. He was the owner.

“So, what brings you in today?”

“My wife’s birthday is tomorrow.”

“And you want to give her a portrait of yourself, right?

“Well, today. Your portrait will be free.”

“Yes, Sir.”

“What’s the catch?”

Billy chuckled. “Though I don’t owe you an explanation, I’m going to give you one to ease your suspicious mind. I had a great week, so I’m going to bless five people with a portrait.”

“Wow! Thank you.”
